For families or players in need of financial assistance to pay registration fees, we have a scholarship program in place. Funds available for scholarships are limited, so please apply early.

Follow these to steps to apply for a scholarship:

01.

Register online and instead of paying the full amount, pay $50. ​

02.

Download the application form (click PDF below)         

03.

Fill it out and scan or take a photo of it. ​

04.

E-mail your completed application to info@cdrugby.com with subject "Scholarship Application"

NOTE 1: Application fee of $50 AND a completed form are required for application review.

NOTE 2: If your scholarship application is not rewarded, the $50 application fee will be fully refunded..

RUGBY IN COLLEGE

Rugby has been played in universities in United States since the 1800s, but it was the 1960s when rugby really found a foothold in our colleges. Today, college rugby is one of the fastest growing club sports across college campuses with more than 30,000 registered college players.

Several schools have increased their investments in men's and women's rugby programs, by creating rugby programs with varsity or quasi-varsity status and funding for scholarships.  Women's Rugby has been classified as an NCAA Emerging Sport since 2002. 

​

Division 1-A Rugby (formerly known as the College Premier Division) is the highest level of college rugby within the United States.

​
